Article 2 – Personal data
Prodimed BV processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you have provided us with this data. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:
- First and last name;
- Gender;
- Address details;
- Telephone number;
- Email address.
Article 3 – Processing purposes/ legitimate basis
The personal data referred to above is processed for the following purposes:
- Processing and delivery of orders;
- Sending newsletters;
- Performing a purchase agreement.
Prodimed BV processes only the personal data that is necessary for the performance of an agreement.
Article 4 – Retention period
Prodimed BV will not retain collected personal data for longer than strictly necessary, or legally regulated, to realise the purposes for which the data was collected. To this end, we apply the following retention periods for each purpose:
- Legal basis: two years;
- Sending newsletters and/or offers: two years;
- Telephone contact: two years;
- Informing about changes to services: two years.
For personal data subject to statutory retention periods, Prodimed BV complies with these statutory retention periods.
Article 5- Sharing with third parties
Prodimed BV will disclose your data to third parties and will only do so if this is required for the performance of our agreement or to comply with a statutory obligation. If we provide your data to third parties for other reasons, we are obliged to request your prior permission. We enter into a data processor agreements with organisations that process your data, to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Prodimed BV remains ultimately responsible for these processing operations.
The following personal data shall in any case be provided to third parties: Name, address, place of residence, email address are transferred to courier services such as DPD and/or POST-NL, because they are required for delivering the order.
Article 6 – Security
Prodimed BV shall implement appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access and other unwanted actions using personal data. These measures are in accordance with applicable security standards.
Article 7- Rights of data subjects
You have the right to access, correct, supplement, erase and/or object to your personal data. To do so, please make an appointment with Prodimed BV. Complaints may be submitted with the supervisory body, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. In addition, you may at all times withdraw your permission for the processing of personal data. This will also require an appointment with Prodimed BV. You must be able to identify yourself and demonstrate that the data you want to access, correct or erase actually belongs to you. It is not allowed to access data of other persons.
Article 8 – Cookies
Prodimed BV uses functional and/or technical cookies. A cookie is a small text file that will be stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit this website for the first time. The cookies we use are necessary to improve the website. We offer cookies to recognise your computer when you revisit our website. You can opt out of cookies by configuring your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can delete all information previously stored through your browser settings.
Article 9 – Newsletter and offers
You can subscribe to our various newsletters. This will keep you informed about our offers, promotions and news. We have general and personal newsletters. We write the personal newsletters based on your data, such as previous orders. This will make the newsletter more interesting to you. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters from us, you can unsubscribe in the newsletter or by sending an email to info@prodimed.eu
Article 10 – Amendments
Prodimed BV may amend this privacy statement from time to time. Amendments will be published on our website. We therefore advise you to regularly consult this privacy statement so that you are aware of these changes.
